Double Win For Medlock At The Fit Out Awards UK 2026

An incredible night for Medlock who took home two awards at the Fit Out UK Awards 2026. The Manchester-based fit out contractor were named as ‘Contractor of the Year’ and also won Hospitality Project of the Year for Mollie’s Manchester.

The winners were announced on 24th September at Park Plaza London Riverbank with the ceremony and awards recognising outstanding achievement across the UK fit out sector. +

The trophies capped a strong night for Medlock who had three other projects shortlisted as finalists. To come away with two awards against such strong competition is a brilliant achievement for everyone involved.

Hospitality Fit Out Project of the Year for Mollie’s Manchester

Mollie’s Manchester is a project we are immensely proud of.

Delivering the 128 bedroom hotel, Mollie’s Diner and Studio IV underground cocktail bar gave our team the opportunity to create something genuinely distinctive in our home city. The vast project brought together high quality hospitality spaces, detailed finishes and the collaborative approach that sits behind every Medlock project.

As a Manchester-based contractor, it’s particularly special to see a Manchester project recognised on a national stage.

Medlock named as Fit Out Contractor of the Year

Contractor of the Year is equally meaningful. It’s a win for the whole business.

The award reflects the effort, skill and commitment of our whole team, alongside the support of our clients, consultants and supply chain partners who help us deliver exceptional projects across the UK year after year.

We arrived as finalists in eight categories across four projects, the most we've been shortlisted for with Clays Soho, Haven Kent Coast aqua park and DoubleTree Hilton Tower of London also in the running on the night. All fantastic projects in their own right.

Thank you to everyone who has played a part in these achievements. A brilliant night for Medlock.
