Latest Project Round Up September 2026 (Video)
Water parks, steakhouses, market halls and new-build hotel annexes - as ever, it's been a busy and varied few months at Medlock FRB. And we like nothing more than handing over one of our specialist fit out and build projects.
Take a look at a few of the projects on the video and find out more info on each below
Haven Kent Coast Lost Lagoon aqua park
Haven's newest aqua park is now open at Kent Coast Holiday Park in Allhallows.
The 60,000 sq ft Lost Lagoon replaces an existing pool facility with the Wild River rapids slide, the Atlantic Falls flume, interactive Aquaplay zones, a splash pad for younger guests and an expanded indoor swimming area. It's part of Haven's 'Park of the Future' programme.
We delivered the £8m project as principal contractor over 51 weeks. All of it happened within a fully operational holiday park. It's our second year running as Haven's delivery partner at Kent Coast, following the link building, changing village and arcade we completed there previously.

Gaucho, Manchester
After 25 years in the city, Gaucho chose Manchester to launch a new look for the brand - and we had six weeks to deliver it. Good job we delivered it in five!
The restaurant sits in a former Methodist church just off Deansgate. The new interior takes its cue from the landscapes, textures and spirit of Latin America, with warm, contemporary finishes throughout the 205 cover restaurant. Our in-house joinery workshop worked on the the 47 seat bar, a wraparound staircase, backbar, wall panelling, reception desk and DJ booth. We also refurbished the mezzanine dining level and two private dining spaces.
The building's history stayed in the picture. The original church organ was restored and remains a feature of the restaurant, and Gaucho reopened to guests in mid-August as planned. It's our second project with Gaucho, following their Liverpool refurbishment.
Northwich Market Hall
Northwich Market has a new home. Cheshire West and Chester Council relocated the market to Barons Quay, and we fitted out the existing shell unit at the heart of the development.
The five-month programme created 23 individual stalls for a mix of food, drink and commerce operators. We also added new façades and bifold entrances to connect the hall with the wider shopping centre, plus toilet facilities, back-of-house areas and internal and external drainage.
The scheme builds on our market hall experience across the UK, including Chester Market for the same client. Like Produce Hall Stockport and Southport Market Hall, it gives independent traders a lively base in the middle of town.

Premier Inn Oldham Central
Premier Inn Oldham Central has grown. It now has 35 extra bedrooms and a new breakfast room for guests.
The £1.7m project for Whitbread took 40 weeks and formed part of their programme to increase bedroom numbers across the Premier Inn estate. It started with the demolition of the former Clayton Green Brewers Fayre restaurant and the remodelling of four existing bedrooms into the new breakfast room. A separate two-storey, timber-frame annexe with a render finish followed.
The hotel stayed open throughout, so we worked closely with Whitbread's team to keep disruption to guests low. The site is just a couple of miles from our Oldham HQ, so finishing this one on home turf felt extra special.
