“We were entrusted with the conversation of this Grade II Listed building into a 21st century casual dining hub.”

As part of a £7m investment by Stockport Borough Council to revitalise the historic Market Place, Medlock converted this Grade II Listed building into a fresh, 21st-century casual dining hub.

Dating back to 1852, the Produce Hall is a buzzing food and drink destination, incorporating a mix of permanent outlets along with a rotating line-up of guest pop-ups and street food vendors.

We overcame the complexities associated with the conversion of a historically significant building into eight independent kitchens and bars, whilst preserving all of its original features.

A full height, timber-clad ceiling with large window openings and classical stonework provide the backdrop to the stunning 200 cover venue, with additional space on the mezzanine level for live entertainment and private hire.

Medlock completed this landmark project over a contract period of 14 weeks.
