Medlock has delivered Clays' flagship venue in the heart of London's West End, transforming a stunning Grade II-listed Art Deco building on Brewer Street into a 20,000 square foot entertainment destination.

This project represents the Clay’s most ambitious expansion since launching in 2021, marking their largest venue to date following successful openings at Canary Wharf, the City of London and Birmingham.

The venue combines competitive clay shooting with premium hospitality, featuring four distinct entertainment zones designed by KAI Interiors.

Our works created Clays Arcade, alongside 9 traditional shooting stations, each with dedicated food and drinks areas for locally-sourced dishes. A separate space called The Hide provides exclusive space for up to 35 guests with self-service cocktail bar, while The Private Room accommodates 100 guests with its own bar, DJ facilities and three shooting pegs for corporate events and celebrations.

Working within the Grade II-listed Art Deco building presented significant heritage considerations, requiring careful coordination to preserve historic architectural features whilst incorporating advanced motion-capture gaming technology and modern hospitality operations.

The 16-week programme demanded precise planning to deliver cutting-edge entertainment systems alongside complete hospitality fit-out within the constraints of listed building regulations. Our comprehensive fit-out works delivered all technical requirements to support Clays' innovative concept/

This project demonstrates our expertise in complex heritage building transformations, balancing preservation requirements with sophisticated entertainment technology and premium hospitality standards.

This project follows other recent work in the capital, including DoubleTree by Hilton at Tower of London, and Flat Iron restaurants in Southbank and London Victoria.
