Premier Inn Capacity Expansion Continues at Chesterfield and Dudley

Whitbread is continuing to grow its Premier Inn estate, with two new projects now underway at Premier Inn Chesterfield and Premier Inn Dudley.

Together, the schemes will increase bedroom capacity and improve guest facilities, supporting the UK's largest hotel brand as it continues to meet demand across its network.

More rooms and improved facilities

At Premier Inn Chesterfield, the project will deliver a new 21-bedroom extension to the existing hotel annexe, alongside the conversion of two larger bedrooms into upgraded Premier Plus accommodation.

Meanwhile, at Premier Inn Dudley, the existing Thyme restaurant is being remodelled to create 20 additional guest bedrooms. The scheme also includes a new, modernised restaurant, together with associated drainage and external works.

Both developments have been designed to maximise the use of the existing sites while creating accommodation that meets Premier Inn's latest brand standards.

Delivered in live hotel environments

Works at both locations are being carried out while the hotels remain fully operational, with careful planning and coordination helping to minimise disruption for guests throughout. This is a speciality of Medlock’s services.

These latest schemes continue Medlock's long-standing partnership with Whitbread following the successful delivery of Premier Inn projects across the UK, including at Oldham Central and Goole in recent times, and with plenty more live projects already under construction.
