Haven Unveils Flagship £8m Lost Lagoon Water Park at Kent Coast

Haven has unveiled Lost Lagoon, a flagship £8 million aqua park at Kent Coast Holiday Park in Allhallows-on-Sea. The project creates one of the most ambitious water attractions across its UK holiday park portfolio.

Spanning 60,000 square feet, the new development upgrades the park's existing swimming facilities into a true family-friendly destination, reinforcing Kent Coast's position as one of Haven's designated 'Parks of the Future'.

Investing in one of the ‘Parks of the Future’

Lost Lagoon brings together an exciting mix of attractions for guests of all ages, including the Wild River rapids slide, Atlantic Falls flume, interactive Aquaplay zones, a dedicated splash pad and an expanded indoor swimming area.

The entire attraction has been designed around an immersive underwater theme, combining vibrant blues, oranges and sandy tones to create a fun, welcoming environment for families.

The scale of Haven's investment attracted national attention during construction. In August 2025, Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves visited the site alongside Haven CEO Simon Palethorpe and Bourne Leisure Group CEO Paul Flaum to see progress first-hand as part of a wider tour of Haven's investment programme.

Delivered with a live holiday park

The 51-week programme was delivered while the holiday park remained fully operational, requiring careful planning and close coordination throughout every stage of construction.

As principal contractor, Medlock managed the phased delivery of the project from initial groundworks and structural works through to the installation of the new indoor attractions and the external pool enclosure. Every phase was carefully programmed to minimise disruption, allowing guests to continue enjoying the park while work progressed.

Continuing a valued partnership

Lost Lagoon marks our second consecutive year working at Haven Kent Coast, following the successful delivery of the park's new link building. It also builds on a growing partnership with Haven, with recent projects completed across parks including Lakeland, Cala Gran, Cleethorpes and Skegness.

We're proud to continue supporting Haven as they invest in creating outstanding destinations where families can make memories for years to come.
