Medlock has delivered a comprehensive refurbishment of the hospitality facilities at Seven Lakes Country Park. It marks our first collaboration with Unity Holidays as the growing operator continues investing in their UK holiday park portfolio.
Acquired by Unity Holidays in September 2025, the 220-acre park near Scunthorpe sits on the edge of the Humberhead Peatlands and features ten fishing lakes, a four-acre watersports lake and activities suited for both groups and families.
The 11 week programme began with demolition of existing food and beverage spaces, clearing the way for a complete transformation of the showbar area.
Our specialist contractor services created a modern hospitality complex featuring a 160 cover restaurant, pub lounge and sports bar. New terraces and canopy areas overlooking the lake offer great viewing areas, whilst upgraded lighting and works improve both atmosphere and guest experience throughout the external spaces.
The project required careful coordination with park operations to minimise disruption during the refurbishment period. It was important that families and visitors could continue enjoying Seven Lakes' peaceful location and facilities. Our team worked closely with Unity Holidays and Leisure Concepts to deliver spaces that balance the park's relaxed, natural character with the quality hospitality facilities modern guests expect.
