Genting Casino, Blackpool

Duration: 6 weeks

Medlock has delivered the refurbishment of Genting Casino Blackpool, transforming this historic century-old castle-style building on the iconic Queen's Promenade into a premium entertainment destination.
The project marks our first partnership with Genting UK, one of the country's largest leisure and entertainment businesses, supporting their commitment to elevating guest experience across their estate.
The distinctive building, originally constructed in 1906, received a comprehensive interior renovation combining historic architecture with modern styling.
Our works included a full upgrade to the main gaming area featuring new flooring, comfortable booth seating and sleek finishes throughout, alongside feature pendant lighting creating the perfect atmosphere.
Power upgrades to the former restaurant space created an extended gaming area, offering visitors additional entertainment choices alongside existing blackjack, poker, roulette and e-tables.
The specialist refurbishment introduced a new outdoor terrace, providing guests with additional space to enjoy the North Shore location. The venue now balances high-energy gaming areas with relaxed spaces where guests can enjoy themselves away from the main action.
Throughout the entire six week programme, the gaming floor remained operational. This is thanks to close communication with the casino management and our experience of refurbishing in live trading environments.
The completed transformation captures the style, excitement and energy that makes Genting Blackpool special. We look forward to supporting Genting UK again in the near future.
