Ready To Get Moving As Superpark Heads To England For The First Time
With 29 indoor parks across 13 countries, SuperPark is coming to England for the first time.
SuperPark launched in Finland with a simple goal: get families away from screens and moving together. After a successful UK launch in Glasgow earlier this year, the brand is now bringing its concept to Birmingham as part of the Star City family leisure and entertainment complex. Medlock have been appointed to deliver the fit-out and internal refurbishment.
The Birmingham park will offer around 40 different activities - from climbing walls, zip wires and slides to trampolines, bounce tracks, gymnastics and interactive sports games. It’s the kind of place where the whole family could easily spend the day.
Like other SuperParks, the Birmingham site will be split into three areas:
Adventure area: a multi-storey playground aimed mainly at younger visitors but open to everyone, with climbing structures, obstacle walls, zip wires, slides and play towers
Game arena: interactive sports games for friends and families to take each other on
Freestyle hall: trampolines, bounce tracks and gymnastics for those who want to push themselves a bit further
It’s a long way from a standard play centre. Parents and grandparents are encouraged to get involved too. And yes there’ll still be time for a coffee and a sit down afterwards in the cafe.

A first for us and for England
This is our first project with SuperPark and we’re delighted that we get to help them launch in England for the first time. We’re looking forward to working closely with their team to bring a new kind of family experience to Birmingham.
After completing a fantastic splash park at Haven Kent Coast, we’re excited to get moving on this activity park.
As the SuperPark motto says, ‘You Are Made To Move’, so we’d better get going.
