Bakers Lead The Way As Coffee Morning Raises £500 For Macmillan

Cake, coffee and a bit of friendly competition brought the Medlock team together for this year’s Macmillan Coffee Morning. And the efforts paid off as we raised £500 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

With colleagues swapping their desks for the kitchen in the lead-up, the table was full of sweet and savoury bakes. It didn’t stay that way for long, and there wasn’t much left by the end of the morning.

And this year’s Star Baker is...

Holly took home the ‘Star Baker’ title with her cupcakes, which the judges described as “sublime”.

Congratulations Holly, and well done to everyone who got their aprons on.

Supporting people living with cancer

All of the money raised will go to Macmillan Cancer Support, which helps people living with cancer and their families across the UK. That includes specialist healthcare professionals, financial guidance and emotional support.

Thank you to everyone who baked, donated and joined us for a brew. It’s always brilliant to see the team come together for a great cause, and we’re already looking forward to doing it all again next year.
