1Rebel Raises The Bar(Bell) At The Scalpel

1Rebel has opened its new Leadenhall club. The premium fitness brand takes over space in The Scalpel, one of the City of London's most distinctive skyscrapers.

The opening closes a decade at the brand's original St Mary Axe site where 1Rebel first started back in 2015. Now just 250m down the road, the new club is bigger and better equipped, with more studios and a wider range of classes for its growing community of members.

Since the first venue opened, 1Rebel has hosted more than 1.3 million workouts across 60,000 classes. Leadenhall is its 12th site in the capital, cementing its place among London's leading boutique fitness brands.

Creating inspirational spaces to train

Alongside the signature Reshape and Ride sessions, the Leadenhall club brings in two new concepts. 

Reformer is a low-impact Pilates workout, while Reset is a dedicated recovery space complete with sauna and cold plunge. 

The studios come fitted with sound and lighting systems that resemble a top-end nightclub to give every class real energy to feed off.

Fit out this premium gym

We completed all specialist fit-out works which covered:

• New ground floor foyer, cafe and WC area

• The main gym and studios 

• Premium changing facilities

Working in a building as recognisable as The Scalpel meant close coordination on access and logistics, all geared towards getting 1Rebel ready to welcome their loyal fans. 

The Scalpel makes a fitting home for 1Rebel's next chapter and we're glad to have played our part in getting it over the line. Hard hats off, the only decision left for the rest of us is which class to book first.
