Premier Inn Oldham Central Expands With New 35 Bedroom Annexe

Whitbread's investment to expand Premier Inn Oldham Central is now complete. The works have increased the hotel's capacity and improved the guest experience with new bedrooms and upgraded facilities.

Delivered over 40 weeks, the project forms part of Whitbread's multi-million-pound investment programme to increase bedroom numbers across the Premier Inn estate, helping meet growing demand while maintaining the high standards guests expect.

Expanding a popular Oldham hotel

The development was tackled in two phases. The first phase involved the demolition of the existing Clayton Green Brewers Fayre restaurant. This was followed by the building of a new two-storey, 35-bedroom annexe built to Premier Inn's latest brand standards.

The new build includes a selection of Premier Plus rooms, featuring air conditioning, Ultimate Wi-Fi, king-size beds, coffee machines and upgraded workspaces.

As well as the new separate annexe, four bedrooms were remodelled in the existing hotel to create a brand-new breakfast room.

External works included new parking and soft landscaping, while air source heat pumps were installed to provide hot water for the new accommodation.
