Major Refurb Cleared For Take-Off At Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport NEC
Work has begun on a multi-million pound refurbishment at the Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport NEC.
Located nearby to both Birmingham Airport and the NEC, the renovation will upgrade the hotel’s offering and strengthen its position as a gateway destination for visitors arriving into Birmingham.
3 phase upgrade programme
The major programme of work is being delivered across three carefully planned phases to minimise disruption so the hotel can continue to operate without issue.
Phases one and two focus on the renovation of the hotel’s bedroom accommodation, including the refurbishment of premium bedrooms on the second and third floors. Works include new room layouts, upgraded finishes, modern fixtures and fittings, plus full mechanical and electrical upgrades.
Phase three will focus on the hotel’s ground and first floor business areas, alongside upgrades to executive bedrooms. In total, 103 bedrooms will be refurbished as part of the programme.
Delivering works in a live environment
All works are being carried out while the hotel remains fully operational. Careful planning and coordination will make sure guests continue to experience the high standards of service expected from the Holiday Inn Birmingham NEC.
The multi-million pound hotel renovation represents a significant investment for the brand. It’ll help reinforce its role as a key accommodation hub for visitors travelling through Birmingham Airport and the wider NEC area.
