Hampton By Hilton Checks In With New Manchester Business Spaces
The demand for quality meeting spaces in Manchester city centre has never been higher. Business travellers want convenient, professional facilities right where they're staying – and Hampton By Hilton in the Northern Quarter has delivered exactly that.
Working with hotel management company RBH Hospitality Management, we've helped upgrade the hotel's reception space into three purpose-built meeting rooms that are already proving popular with corporate guests.
From lobby space to business hub
The project saw us reconfigure the hotel's lobby to create The Loom, The Mill 1 and The Mill 2. The names pay homage to Manchester's industrial heritage and the cotton mills that once defined our great city.
The Loom is the larger of the meeting rooms, whilst The Mill 1 and The Mill 2 can operate independently or be combined into one expanded space using acoustic sliding partitions.
The transformation required careful planning around the hotel's daily operations. With guests checking in and out throughout the day, our team had to coordinate all work – from installing new plasterboard walls to electrical alterations and HVAC modifications – without disrupting the guest experience.
Meeting modern business needs
The timing couldn't have been better. Since completion, the uptake of the new meeting facilities has been overwhelmingly positive, with businesses and guests taking full advantage of these exclusive, first-class spaces in one of the city’s trendiest areas.
The Northern Quarter location gives corporate clients easy access to the city centre and major transport links, whilst offering the character and energy that makes Manchester such a brilliant business spot.
This hotel refurbishment project marked Medlock’s first collaboration with RBH Hospitality Management, one of the UK's leading hotel management companies with over 50 sites nationwide.
