Haven Lakeland Gets A Refresh With Multi-area Upgrade
Holiday parks are places of hustle and bustle. Even during quieter months, there's always something happening – and that makes upgrading facilities a tricky balancing act between getting the project finished and not disturbing daily operations.
Haven's Lakeland Leisure Park near Grange-over-Sands continued to run like clockwork as we completed a comprehensive refresh across three key areas to improve the guest experience.
Tucked onto the coast overlooking Morecambe Bay and just a few miles south of the Lake Windermere, we had to make sure the new facilities matched up to the scenic surroundings too.
Three-pronged approach
During the updates, the caravan sales area was upgraded with new flooring, bespoke joinery, updated M&E systems and all fresh finishes, whilst the on-site showbar received a light refresh.
The most significant transformation saw the former park owners' facilities fully remodelled to accommodate a brand-new Burger King outlet – a major addition to Haven's on-site dining options.
Coordination is key
Working on a live holiday park site demands careful coordination. With families enjoying their holidays, caravans being sold and entertainment schedules to stick to, we know that disruption must be kept to an absolute minimum.
Our team coordinated closely with Haven's operations team to make sure work progressed efficiently without impacting Haven’s paying guests. From managing noise levels during family entertainment times to ensuring sales areas remained accessible, every detail required advance planning to make sure we got it right.
It’s fantastic to see all the improvements now fully operational and live for the public to enjoy at Haven Lakeland. This latest project continues our strong partnership with Haven Holidays, building on successful completions at Kent Coast Holiday Park, Skegness and Cleethorpes.
