After a 6 week project, the refurbishment of Genting Casino Blackpool is now complete. The stylish scheme has transformed this historic, century-old building into an even more impressive destination for visitors.
Located on the iconic Queen's Promenade of Blackpool's North Shore, the project represents our first partnership with Genting UK, one of the country's largest leisure and entertainment businesses.
Historic venue with modern upgrades
Genting Casino Blackpool is a unique venue. The building itself dates back to 1906, when it was built by Lancashire cricketer Arthur Knowles for his French wife. After changing hands a few times, it’s been a casino for the past 60 years.
Now, this distinctive castle-style building has received a stylish interior renovation. The refurbishment includes a full upgrade to the main gaming area featuring new flooring, comfortable booth seating and sleek finishes throughout.
The new outdoor terrace provides additional space for guests to enjoy the North Shore location, whilst feature pendant lighting creates the perfect atmosphere throughout the venue.
Power upgrades to the former restaurant space have created an extended gaming area, offering visitors even more entertainment choices alongside existing favourites including blackjack, poker, roulette and e-tables.
The venue provides a great balance of high-energy gaming areas and relaxed spaces where guests can take everything in and enjoy themselves away from the main action.
Project delivery
Throughout the entire project, the gaming floor remained operational. Working closely with the casino management team, our experienced team made sure guests could continue enjoying their visits without any disruption to the gaming.
