Behind The Scenes At Clays Soho As Flagship Venue Nears Completion

As the Clays Soho flagship project nears completion, here’s a behind the scenes glimpse inside the transformation of this stunning Grade II listed building on Brewer Street.

Set to open this autumn, this 1930s Art Deco venue is Clays’ fourth and most ambitious project to date - with competitive socialising, conversation and socialising spread across 19,000 square feet!

Historic Art Deco building, modern entertainment

Working within a Grade II listed building and spanning across three floors, the challenge has been preserving the character and Art Deco features of this English Heritage building whilst incorporating all the technical requirements and modern fit out features needed for Clays' innovative gaming concept. The video shows how our team is carefully balancing heritage preservation with cutting-edge entertainment technology.

Since launching in 2021, Clays has revolutionised competitive socialising by making clay shooting fun, social and accessible to everyone. After winning over crowds at their Canary Wharf, City of London and Birmingham venues, Soho represents their most daring expansion yet.

The new venue will introduce several exciting firsts for the brand, including 5 open-play pegs designed for quicker gameplay and smaller groups, alongside 8 traditional shooting pegs throughout the historic space. Each area will have dedicated spaces for ordering food and drinks, creating that complete night out experience Clays is known for.

Opening Soon

The Soho venue is scheduled to open this autumn, bringing Clays' unique brand of competitive socialising to one of London's most vibrant neighbourhoods - we can’t wait to see it live and welcoming people in!

The project represents another exciting addition to the Medlock portfolio in the leisure and hospitality sector. You can read more about the Clays project here and learn more about our other London projects including Flat Iron Southbank restaurant and DoubleTree by Hilton at the Tower of London.

Project update: After 16 weeks on site, Clays Soho is now open and has already received rave reviews!
