Room For Growth With Major Updates At Premier Inn Cheadle

The popular Premier Inn Cheadle is getting a major upgrade that’s set to be a brilliant update to this highly convenient hotel. Located just 10 minutes from Manchester Airport and 5 minutes from the M60, the hotel is in an ideal spot for both business and leisure guests.  

The upgrade, on which Medlock has been appointed as primary contractor, will provide modern, high-quality accommodation whilst improving breakfast facilities for guests to make sure the hotel can capitalise on its excellent transport links.

Phased delivery approach

The project involves remodelling existing rooms to create a brand-new breakfast area and accessible accommodation. Following this, we’ll be adding a new 25 bedroom wing extension.

With a few phases to work through, careful planning is essential. We'll complete the breakfast room remodel first, then return after six weeks to construct the new bedroom block. This phased approach allows Premier Inn to maintain operations whilst the upgrades take place.

To make way for the new bedroom extension, the existing Brewers Fayre restaurant, the Cheadle Royal, will be brought down to make the most of the existing space. 

Building on successful partnerships

This appointment follows our ongoing work with Whitbread. Medlock are currently delivering a similar transformation at Premier Inn Oldham Central, which involves bedroom remodelling and a 35 bedroom extension.

Both projects form part of Whitbread's multi-million-pound investment programme to expand bedroom capacity across the Premier Inn estate and meet growing demand for quality accommodation.
