Gold Standard Safety Excellence Recognised With Prestigious RoSPA Award
Creating a culture of safe working environments for everyone involved in our projects is something we work hard at every single day.
We're delighted to see this recognised at the highest level after receiving a prestigious RoSPA Health & Safety Gold Award.
This achievement reinforces our position as a contractor that prioritises safety at every stage, giving clients confidence that their projects will be delivered with the highest professional standards.
World-renowned recognition
Now in its 69th year, the RoSPA Awards programme is UK's largest and most impactful health and safety awards scheme. With almost 2,000 entries a year from over 50 countries and covering over seven million employees, the awards recognise organisations that demonstrate unwavering commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in health and safety.
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) campaigns to reduce avoidable accidents, with a vision to create a life free from accidental injury.
Rigorous assessment process
Achieving the RoSPA Gold Award required a comprehensive critical analysis of our health and safety systems, with our Health and Safety Manager Shaun Baker leading the submission process.
The assessment covered ten key performance areas including leadership commitment, workforce engagement, risk assessment, communication, accident prevention and performance monitoring.
The evaluation examined how our directors and senior managers lead health and safety, our approach to ensuring competent advice and services, workforce engagement strategies, contractor selection and monitoring, risk assessment processes, our methods for investigating health and safety problems and implementing lessons learned.
What this means for our clients
For clients working with us, this recognition provides assurance that their projects benefit from award-winning health and safety practices. Whether we're delivering complex fit-outs in live trading environments, heritage building refurbishments or bespoke joinery installations, our Gold Award status demonstrates our commitment to protecting everyone involved.
Julia Small, RoSPA's Growth Director, noted that award winners represent "strong examples of the importance of making accident prevention central to any successful organisation, not just for the benefit of employees, customers and clients, but also society as a whole."
Building on our foundations
This award reflects the safety culture we've built across our Manchester-based operations and all of our projects throughout the UK. It reinforces our approach of placing people at the centre of everything we do - one of our core values that guides how we work with clients, contractors and communities.
The recognition comes at a time when health and safety standards are more important than ever in the construction and fit-out industry, positioning us as a contractor that delivers excellent results while maintaining the highest safety standards.
We're proud of this achievement and what it represents for our continued commitment to safety excellence across all projects.
