A Fresh Welcome For Crowne Plaza London Docklands
Reception and front-of-house refurbishment underway at East London hotel
Works are underway on the refurbishment of the reception and toilet areas at Crowne Plaza London Docklands, refreshing key guest-facing spaces at one of East London's best-known hotels.
First opened in 2003, the 210 bedroom hotel sits in a prime waterside location close to Canary Wharf, ExCeL London and London City Airport. It’s a busy, high-footfall site where the quality of first impressions counts.
Refreshed finishes and bespoke joinery
The scope covers a full redecoration and new flooring throughout the front-of-house. This is alongside the installation of bespoke joinery, including new reception counters, feature walls, storage, shelving and vanity units, as well as M&E works.
The bespoke joinery elements are being designed and manufactured through Medlock's own in-house joinery workshop to make sure there’s a consistent, high-quality finish across all front-of-house areas.
Keeping the hotel open throughout
All works are being carried out while the hotel remains fully operational. Careful programming and close coordination with the hotel team will ensure guest disruption is kept to a minimum throughout the programme.
Continuing a strong partnership with RBH
The project is being delivered in collaboration with RBH Hospitality Management, one of the UK's leading hotel management companies. It marks another chapter in a growing working relationship between Medlock and RBH across the hospitality sector.
With the Medlock team already on-site, we can’t wait to get this brilliant refurb complete for RBH and for the guests of the Crowne Plaza Docklands.
