Sweet Success As Medlock Raises £500 For Macmillan Cancer Support

We recently hosted our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning and we're delighted to announce we raised £500 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Our talented team baked an incredible spread of cookies, cakes and breads, not only to raise money for this vital charity but also to compete for the coveted title of 'Star Baker'.

This year saw a close competition resulting in joint winners who impressed with their baking skills and creativity.

Anne took one of the top spots with her beautifully baked traditional plain scones served with butter and whipped cream - a classic done to perfection.

Carl shared the honours, wowing everyone with his fragrant rosemary and sea salt focaccia topped with a tasty tomato bruschetta mix.

Supporting a vital cause

The £500 raised will help Macmillan Cancer Support continue their important work supporting people living with cancer and their families across the UK.

Macmillan provides vital services including specialist healthcare professionals, financial guidance and emotional support to those affected by cancer.

A huge thank you to everyone who baked, donated and joined us for this year's coffee morning. The event brings our team together while supporting a cause that touches so many lives.
