The new phase involves enclosing the external pool with a structural steel frame, composite cladded roof and wall system. This will transform the outdoor pool into a year-round facility that guests can enjoy regardless of our unpredictable British weather.
Curtain walling and glazed elevations will flood the extended pool hall with natural light, creating a bright and open atmosphere for swimmers. The design makes sure the space feels welcoming and spacious while providing the protection and comfort of an indoor environment.

Works also include removing the existing pool catwalk podium and re-tiling the exposed areas to blend perfectly with the poolside finishes. The careful integration maintains the high-quality finish expected throughout Haven's leisure facilities.
This additional phase builds on the main aqua park development featuring the Wild River rapids slide, interactive Aquaplay zones and dedicated splash pad for younger guests. The enclosed pool extension adds even more to what's already shaping up to be a fantastic leisure facility for families.
The main aqua park building has been progressing well, with the steel structure now in place and the distinctive features of this 'first of its kind' facility for Haven's portfolio taking shape.
