Royal refurb for the Queens Head

Situated in the beautiful setting of the South Lakes in Cumbria, the Queens Head at Hawkshead is an AA rosette awarded fine dining pub forming part of the Individual Inns collection for Frederic Robinsons.

With its origins dating back to the 17th century the Queens Head is a cosy country hideaway acting as an ideally located base for visitors to explore the picturesque Lake District countryside. As well as the fine fare on offer the pub also boasts thirteen individually styled and furnished bedrooms offering guests a tranquil stay in prime Beatrix Potter country.

We are currently onsite delivering a considered refresh of the main pub trade area featuring listed ornate floor and bar along with the formation of new toilet facilities. We are also remodelling the Brown Cow annex to convert the former staff quarters into ten premium ensuite bedrooms with new landscaped exterior scheme.

We are delighted to have been entrusted with this important investment by our long standing client Frederic Robinsons and look forward to sharing further details of the transformation in due course.
