Andy led the management buyout of the business back in 2007. A true leisure market expert, nowadays he is our Managing Director, leading our Health and Safety and Customer Care teams plus mentoring the fit out and refurbishment team on the road to greatness!
He describes himself as an ‘Oldham lad’ with two grown-up kids, two not so grown up dogs and a keen traveller! Basically, he’s always on holiday!
Mark FoylanProject Manager
Coming from a Site Management background, Mark builds on his hands-on experience to effectively manage Medlock’s fit-out and refurbishment projects.
A family man who could think of nothing better than spending time with his family in his free time. Enjoys motorsport especially the TT race.
Neil CorfieldProject Director
Recently appointed to Project Director, Neil leads the Fit Out and Refurbishment teams commercial activities while establishing and maintaining client relationships.

The numbers man. As a founding director, Colin has a strong track record of financial structuring and control within the construction sector.

Ryan heads the finance function ensuring key financial information, management accounts, cash flows and information is produced in line with company policy and timetables.

Having been with Medlock since the very beginning, Claire is responsible for managing our Project Administration team.

Colin is responsible for all workshop project planning.

Paul is an integral part of the bid team, utilising his exceptional knowledge of the leisure industry to manage the estimating of all fit-out and refurbishment projects.
He has a keen interest in cuisine and travel, or is that food and holidays! Enjoys watching (not playing) various sports.

John leads the financial management of projects and has an abundance of successful projects to his name with Medlock in numerous market sectors.
A golfer, football pundit and full-time dog walker… and a Chartered Quantity Surveyor when time permits.
Steve TaylorHead of Business Development
Steve is responsible for identifying, targeting and securing opportunities, to ensure the targets of the business plan are achieved.
Interested in all things sporty, a keen golfer and avid viewer of football. Known to socialise occasionally (or quite regularly!)
Dave MarlandSenior Buyer
Dave oversees the buying department in the business ensuring effective management of the supply chain in line with our company standards.
Father, Grandfather and a family Care Worker. Self-confessed Oldham Athletic FC mad, meaning he doesn’t see enough good football.
Carl joined Medlock in 2012 to help facilitate the strategic growth of the business. He is responsible for the preparation of tender submissions for the businesses new-build division.
Athletics coach, proud dad of two, and a huge PDC darts fan.
John PrendergastCommercial Manager
John is an experienced construction professional, having worked in all sectors of the industry, and he is responsible for the financial aspects of a Medlock project.
His favourite part of the week is swapping the scale ruler and calculator, for a nice glass of red and his walking boots.

Dan heads up our New Build and Major Projects team and brings with him an impressive track-record of completing high-profile projects across different sectors of the industry.

Dave draws on his 20 years experience in the commercial management of construction and fit-out projects to ensure the financial parameters of the projects are adhered to.

Nathan TaylorAssistant Estimator
An Estimator in training, Nathan is responsible for assisting the Estimating team on various bid submissions across all channels of the business.
The office comedian, he refers to himself as a sports enthusiast and keen gym goer (Once he’s joined a gym).
Jon NuttallSupport Service Manager
Jon plays a key role in the business as the Support Service Manager. Jon is responsible for the coordination of any emergencies or issues which may arise on projects in the period from completion to the end of the defects period.
A keen sports watcher and home cook. Jon lives by the words of John Winston Lennon, “No problems, only solutions”.
Building on skillset from a decade of Site Management, Carl provides health and safety, planning and process expertise to the bid and operational teams.
He describes himself as a tattoo loving, Greggs eating, gym avoiding, big kid!

Head of the commercial team, an experienced professional with a strong understanding of all contract forms and procurement routes.

Rachel plays a vital role in the day-to-day operation of the business, being responsible for the evaluation, management and development of Medlock’s supply chain.
She describes herself as a devoted mum and taxi driver to two teenage children. She also enjoys socialising – when not a taxi service!

Amanda is responsible for the subcontract accounts with the business.

Kurtis is responsible for the business’s internal and external communications, to develop the business in line with its strategic plan.

Lisa plays a key role in the business, being responsible for all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality, whether this is on site or Head Office operations.
She sees work as an escape from two bossy children, although she wouldn’t change a thing! Enjoys a glass or two of Prosecco on a Friday night!

Utilising over 10 years of industry experience, Nick effectively manages our large fit-out and refurbishment projects.
Outside the office, Nick enjoys snowboarding and mountain biking, along with being a Junior Rugby Coach!

Building on a wealth of Commercial Management experience, Sam sits within our fit-out team handling all things budget and commercial.
When in the office, he’s usually found with headphones on, bopping his head to his favourite anthems.

Sarah plays a pivotal role in the business’ Head Office function, being responsible for the labour allocation and accommodation for various projects up-and-down the country.
When not in the office, she’ll be found with her daughter, tending to their horse and walking the dog.
