The Bull’s Head, Hale Barns

  • Architect: Fredric Robinson Brewery
  • Value: £400k
  • Duration: 10 weeks

The popular Bulls Head public house in Hale Barns has been brought into the 21st century with a complete revamp of the existing property and a new extension to the rear.

Over a 10 week period, Medlock carried out a full internal refurbishment, including structural alterations to remove a chimney breast, a new bar and back fitting and a single story extension to create increased dining space for customers.

Externally a new raised patio area has been created to increase guest capacity incorporating new flagging and balustrading. At first floor level improvements were made to the garden terrace with contemporary festoon lighting, which offers the perfect location to enjoy alfresco dining with friends and family.

Next door, whilst continuing to trade, the 21 bedroom lodge also received a face lift with new windows and a fresh coat of paint.
