Medlock FRB Ltd has completed the brand-new Adoption Centre at Manchester Dogs’ Home in Harpurhey, marking the final phase of development following severe fire damage in September 2014.
The new facility, designed by Dickinson Waugh Architecture, provides 32 spacious temperature controlled kennel blocks incorporating the latest developments in canine welfare.
The 12000 sq ft single-storey centre features a large central atrium area where prospective owners can view the animals, dog welfare facilities, office accommodation and reception area.
The state-of-the-art re-homing centre was constructed on a piece of land adjacent to the existing adoption block in a timescale of 22 weeks.
