Medlock FRB were appointed to transform the popular roadside local into a ‘Premier food and drink house’ for Manchester’s oldest brewer Joseph Holt.
Over the 7 week contract period, the entire pub was stripped back and remodelled to create unique open-plan dining spaces and the addition of new features such as the Artisan deli counter and a stone-baked pizza oven to compliment the modern menu of fresh, home-cooked fayre.
A new conservatory-style extension was constructed to accommodate a further 40 diners with stunning contemporary design features running throughout the interior, including a mixture of traditional and booth seating.
Externally, extra car-parking was created and the heated sun terrace extended to both sides of the pub to cater for year-round usage.
Medlock’s in-house manufacturing workshop supplied all bespoke and decorative joinery for the refurbishment.
