Brewing up a storm for Frederic Robinsons

Is there anything better than settling down for a smooth drink and a bite to eat in a picturesque country pub? Whether you’re a local, a weekend rambler or an enjoyer of hearty pub grub, Frederic Robinsons offer some of the best and most authentic country pubs in the country.

Demonstrating brewing perfection since 1838, the independent family business spans multiple generations and operates around 260 pubs across the North West and Wales.

Medlock is carrying out two refurbishments for the Stockport based brewer in leafy Cheshire and Skipton respectively.

Nestled in the heart of the countryside between Congleton and Holmes Chapel, Medlock is at the Swettenham Arms to deliver a considered refurbishment to the 16th Century listed Inn.

The team will perform structural alterations to enable kitchen and toilet extensions alongside a full refurbishment of the trade area to invigorate the popular pubs dining ambience.

Heading North to the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, the 17th-century Tempest Arms is undergoing an extensive refurbishment. Covering the ground-floor retail space and the 21 letting rooms above, the works include structural alterations, a full fit-out and the formation of an external garden area for visitors to enjoy the coming summer months.

Medlock is proud of it’s longstanding relationship with Frederic Robinsons and we look forward to sharing the completed photographs of the projects in due course.
